Glass Recycling will be the first Wednesday of every month.
The next day is April 3, 2024, 1:00-6:00 p.m. at Ishpeming Township Hall parking lot, look for the recycling trailer that will be next to the newspaper building.

Unattended Minors at the Ishpeming Township Park
We have received complaints from local residents about unattended minors at the park after 10PM causing disturbances to neighbors and climbing on the roofs of the pavilion and concession stand. We ask that parents and guardians monitor the where a bouts of their children in the interest of their safety and as not to disturb the neighbors after park hours.
If activity continues after park hours (10PM) the ordinance for this violation will be enforced. Violations of this ordinance will be deemed as a civil infraction with a penalty of between $100 and $500.
There have been quite a few changes recently when it comes to voting. All Michigan voters now have the right to vote early in every statewide and federal elections. In those elections, early voting must be offered for at least 9 consecutive days, beginning on the second Saturday before the election and ending on the Sunday before the election, for at least 8 hours per day. The first election at which early voting will be constitutionally required will be the 2024 Presidential Primary Election.
Ishpeming Township resident's Early Voting Site will be at the Negaunee Township Hall, located at 42 M-35, Negaunee. The hours the site will be open are from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
